Dr. Benjamin Hii

Dentist

Dr. Benjamin Hii grew up in Malaysia and moved to New Zealand to study dentistry in Dunedin. He graduated from the University of Otago with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2005 and moved to Australia in 2006 to work for multiple years with the Queensland Health Department in Townsville. He then moved to Brisbane and worked in private clinics till he joined the AIDER Team in April 2021.

He is a proud and active member of the ADA (Australian Dental Association) and his specialties are General Dentistry, Cosmentic Dentistry, Endodontics and fixed Prostodontics.

Dr. Ben has a high interest for implantology and is very dedicated to keep up with the latest technology and research to ensure he offers high standards and the best dental care to our patients.

Dr. Jie Zhang

Dentist, Masters in Implantology

Dr. Jie Zhang moved 13 years ago from China to Australia. He studied at Griffith University and finished his dentistry degree as a recipient of Head of School Award and Queensland Dental Group Award upon graduation. He has worked as a dentist in regional and rural Queensland before moving back to Brisbane.

Before Covid Dr. Jie Zhang has spent considerable time in dental volunteering. He believes in quality affordable dentistry for everyone and is currently studying "Master of Implant Dentistry" at Griffith University to further enhance his knowledge in this area.
Besides dentistry, he likes to explore great nature around south east Queensland.

Shoma Chand

Oral Hygienist

Shoma Chand graduated in 2013 with Dental Hygienist qualification from Adelaide. She was raised in Fiji and she completed her Bachelor in Dental Surgery in Fiji in 2006. Shoma joined AIDER dental team in 2018.

As a dental hygienist, her focus is on providing high quality care to her patients and educating them on how to maintain good oral health. Shoma is committed to making hygiene appointments a comfortable and positive experience. She is here to learn your dental history, listen to your concerns, and plan for a healthy future. Together, with the dental team, she helps formulate patient centered hygiene care plans that meet all of your dental needs. Shoma is also current on new technologies, hygiene products, and attend continuing education classes regularly.

Wook Hyun Lee

Dental Prosthetist

Wook Lee qualified as a dental technician in 2008 in Brisbane and developed his career mostly in a field of removable dental appliances. He completed certification courses of Advanced cast partial denture and The Prosthetics of Mini Dental Implants while he was working in the Royal Dental Hospital of Melbourne (RDHM).

For professional development, Wook studied Advanced Diploma of Dental Prosthetics in 2014 and became a dental prosthetist.
